Description
With the Forest 2, the canopy trail gains a proper reward: after climbing through the entrance cabin and crossing the suspended rope tunnels, children race each other down a 6-metre stainless steel double slide. Three distinct cabins – entrance with window passage, slide tower and rope pyramid – form a complete circuit in natural brown, green and beige tones.
Climb, cross, slide: a full play loop
Each cabin has a clear role. The 5 m entrance cabin with its window passage filters access to the trail; the rope pyramid cabin adds a vertical climbing challenge; and the slide cabin sends two children down side by side, keeping throughput high on busy afternoons. Notably, the Forest 2 achieves all this with a certified free fall height of just 2.6 m – the lowest in the Forest series.
- Entrance cabin with window passage, 5 m
- Cabin with 6 m stainless steel double slide
- Cabin with 5 m rope pyramid
- Two rope tunnel walkways linking the modules
- Recommended age range: 5 to 14 years
- Free fall height: 2.6 m – minimum safety zone 34.2 x 31.3 m
Materials chosen for public service
The load-bearing structure is outdoor-treated timber; nets and tunnels use high-strength braided polyamide rope; the double slide is stainless steel; and all hardware is galvanised or stainless steel. The equipment is certified compliant with EN 1176 by an independent certification body. Foundations are 1.0 m deep and require construction machinery for installation.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the lower fall height matter?
The certified free fall height of 2.6 m determines the performance required of your impact-attenuating surfacing. A lower value can reduce surfacing thickness and cost across the 34.2 x 31.3 m safety zone.
Is a stainless steel slide comfortable in summer?
The slide descends from an enclosed cabin and is specified for outdoor public use; orientation on site is studied at the design stage to limit direct sun exposure, a point our team addresses in every project layout.
How does Forest 2 compare with Forest 3?
The Forest 2 is a three-cabin loop on a 30.0 x 27.6 m footprint; the Forest 3 doubles the module count to six for larger destination playgrounds. Both share the same materials and certification.
