Description
The Bodytone PPB is a modular 3×2 powerlifting platform with integrated resistance band pegs, designed to be installed under a rack or cage. It combines a steel perimeter frame, a varnished non-slip bamboo lifting surface and high-density rubber tiles. Professional price: 2,263.30 EUR excluding VAT.
What the band pegs change
A standard powerlifting platform protects the floor and gives a defined lifting area. This one also carries integrated pegs for resistance bands, which turns it into an accommodating-resistance station: band tension rises as the bar travels, so the load matches the strength curve instead of being limited by the weakest point of the lift. That is the basis of most speed and dynamic-effort work in a strength programme, and it normally requires a separate band setup that has to be rigged before every session.
The platform is supplied for use under a 3×2 rack or cage. The rack itself is not included.

Who specifies it
Gyms and strength coaches who want banded work available at the rack without rigging it each time: deadlift and squat against bands, banded bench, and explosive dynamic-effort training. It also solves the floor protection problem in a room where the rack sits on a rubber tile floor that is not rated for repeated bar drops.

Frequently asked questions
Does the platform work with any rack?
It is designed for a 3×2 rack or cage footprint. Confirm your upright spacing and base plate dimensions before ordering, since the perimeter frame has to align with the rack feet.
Can it be installed on an existing gym floor?
Yes. The platform is laid over the existing floor rather than recessed, which is the usual approach in leased premises where no permanent alteration is allowed.
What bands does it take?
The pegs accept standard powerlifting resistance bands. Band strength is selected according to the lift and the phase of the programme, and bands are ordered separately.
