The Bodytone PPB powerlifting platform is the 3×2 version fitted with four band pegs: a perimeter steel frame, a central 30 mm solid bamboo surface and eight 30 mm rubber tiles where the plates land. It measures 306 × 206 cm, 3 cm thick, and weighs 159 kg.

What the PPB is for

It marks out and protects a lifting zone under a rack, and its four steel pegs (398 mm, Ø 20 mm) let you attach resistance bands for accommodating-resistance squats and deadlifts without improvising on the rack. The varnished bamboo gives non-slip footing; the 800 kg/m³ tiles cushion plates set down.

Uses and limits

  • Strength gyms and cross-training boxes: a complete lifting zone with built-in band anchoring.
  • Rack: designed for a Bodytone rack (FBC10, SR10, SG60); check the upright spacing for another model.

What are the four pegs for?
To attach resistance bands either side of the bar for accommodating-resistance squats or deadlifts. The pegs are part of the steel frame: band tension is not applied to the rack.
