Description
The Work-fit obstacle jump module brings a plyometric station to a timber fitness trail: treated Scandinavian pine hurdles with a 0.39 m free fall height, an 11 m2 safety area and EN 1176-1:2017 compliance.
Jump training along the trail
Between walking and running sections, the obstacle jump station introduces explosive lower-body work: two-footed hops, lateral jumps and agility drills over fixed low hurdles. It is a natural complement to the strength-oriented modules of the Work-fit range, adding coordination and power development to a health trail used by joggers, families and sports groups alike.

Composing a balanced trail
A well-designed health trail alternates effort types: cardio segments between stations, lower-body strength (squat, step modules), upper-body work (bars, traverses), balance elements and this plyometric jump station. Spacing stations 80 to 150 metres apart keeps heart rates in a useful range for recreational users while letting sports groups run circuit formats. The jump module is best placed mid-trail, once users are warm — a detail our layout advice covers at the quote stage.

Frequently asked questions
What ground surface is required under the module?
With a 0.39 m free fall height, the safety area and its surfacing must comply with EN 1176-1:2017. We advise on suitable surfacing — grass, engineered wood chips or synthetic safety flooring — as part of the project plan.
How long will the timber last outdoors?
Class IV autoclave treatment protects the pine in permanent outdoor exposure, the Lasur finish adds surface protection, and AISI-304 stainless metal parts resist corrosion. Spare parts remain available for 10 years.
Where does this module fit in a trail layout?
Typically mid-trail, after a warm-up section and before or between strength stations, so users arrive ready for explosive work. Our wooden fitness trail range offers the complementary modules.
