Description
The Bodytone FBC16 is a T-bar row station for back, biceps, trapezius and deltoid training. It takes Olympic plates on a pivoting arm, giving the loading feel of a barbell row while the pivot controls the path and removes the balance demand.
Why operators install a dedicated T-bar
A barbell row done badly is the most common source of lower-back complaints on a gym floor. The T-bar changes the geometry: the chest pad and the fixed pivot hold the torso angle, so the load goes through the lats rather than the lumbar spine. For a club, that means a heavy pulling exercise members can be left to perform without constant supervision.
Specification
- Pivoting loading arm for Olympic plates — plates are not part of the station.
- Maximum load 150 kg, plates included in that figure.
- Chest support fixing the torso angle.
- Footprint 175 x 96 cm, height 116 cm, net weight 56 kg.
Layout and flooring
The 175 cm length is measured along the loading arm, so allow standing room behind it as well as space at the plate end for loading. Since plates are handled at floor level, the station belongs on rubber flooring. It pairs naturally with the free-weight zone rather than with the selectorised line.
Managing the plates
A T-bar station is only as quick to use as the plates beside it. If members have to cross the floor for plates, sets slow down and plates end up abandoned at the station. A dedicated plate tree within reach solves it, and it can be quoted alongside the bench. Post the 150 kg maximum load at the loading end so that users setting their own weight can see the limit.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 150 kg limit include the plates?
Yes. 150 kg is the total permissible load on the arm, plates included, and should be signed on the station where members load their own weight.
Are Olympic plates supplied with it?
No. This is a free-weight station; plates are a separate line item. Confirm they appear on your quotation if you do not already hold stock.
What are the delivery and installation lead times?
Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to commissioning in mainland France, 4 to 6 weeks in Belgium and 5 to 7 weeks in Switzerland.
