Description
The Bodytone FBC06 is an Olympic decline bench: a decline press bench with integrated barbell uprights, built for lower-chest work with a loaded Olympic bar. It is the largest bench in the Bodytone free-weight group and behaves more like a rack than a bench.
Self-contained, and that is the point
A decline press performed on a separate bench inside a rack requires the rack to be free, the bench to be dragged into position and the uprights to be reset. The FBC06 carries its own uprights at the correct height, so the station is ready as it stands. On a busy floor that removes one of the more time-consuming set-ups from the queue for the rack.
Specification
- Decline bench with integrated Olympic barbell uprights.
- Maximum load 200 kg.
- Targets the lower portion of the pectorals.
- Footprint 214 x 170 cm, height 129 cm, net weight 88 kg.
- Bar and plates are separate items, not part of the station.
Space planning
At 214 x 170 cm this is a substantial footprint, and the loading zone at each end of the bar must be added to it. Plan for a member of staff or a training partner to stand at the head end. Because plates are handled at floor level, install the station on rubber flooring rated for dropped weight.
Signage and supervision
Because the station is self-contained, members will use it without asking. Post the maximum permissible load of 200 kg at the uprights, along with the usual instruction to use collars and to seek a spotter for working sets. On floors with unstaffed hours, brief the induction team to cover the decline position specifically, since it is the one users are least likely to have met before.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 200 kg maximum include the bar?
Yes. 200 kg is the total permissible load on the station, bar and plates together.
Should a decline bench be supervised?
Pressing in the decline position with a loaded bar is best performed with a spotter. Post the usual free-weight safety instructions at the station and brief staff on the head-end position.
What are the delivery and installation lead times?
Allow 3 to 6 weeks from order to commissioning in mainland France, 4 to 6 weeks in Belgium and 5 to 7 weeks in Switzerland.
