Description
The TRAINER pull-up bar is the standard-build outdoor pulling station of the OutdoorFit range: 94 x 83 x 226 cm, 15 kg for the module and 65 kg with its support pylon, rated easy and certified to EN 16630:2015-06. At 510 EUR excluding VAT it is the least expensive way to put a genuine pulling movement on a municipal circuit, and the station that most park users recognise without any signage.
Why every circuit needs one
An outdoor fitness area without a pull-up bar trains pressing, core and mobility, and leaves the entire back untouched. The bar fixes that in one module, and it does so without moving parts, adjustment or instructions.
- Arms and the shoulder girdle as the primary working muscles
- Back and scapular stabilisers through the pulling range
- Dead hangs, assisted pulls and full repetitions from the same bar
- Difficulty rating: easy, in the sense that it requires no instruction
- Users above 140 cm in height, up to 150 kg

Standard build or reinforced build
The same pull-up geometry is available in two constructions, and the choice is a site decision rather than a quality one. This standard OutdoorFit module is shot blasted, galvanised and double polyester coated, which is the specification for an ordinary municipal park, a school ground or a residential development. Where a site sees exceptional traffic, organised calisthenics groups or a history of vandalism, the reinforced Steel4Fit build in seamless S355 tube is the correct answer.
Budget accordingly: at 510 EUR excluding VAT for the module, a standard-build circuit can carry more stations for the same envelope, and on most sites that produces a better facility than fewer reinforced ones.
The module is post-mounted, so a pylon or a load-bearing wall is needed and quoted separately, and one column frequently carries the pull-up bar plus a second module. The 494 x 483 cm safety zone accounts for a swinging user, so keep it clear on all sides. See the OutdoorFit single station range and the street workout rigs for larger pulling structures.
Frequently asked questions
How can a pull-up bar be rated easy?
The rating describes the equipment, not the exercise. There is nothing to learn, nothing to set and no risk of using it incorrectly: the user hangs and pulls, or simply hangs. Difficulty ratings in this range measure how much instruction a station needs, not how strong the user has to be.
Can it be installed against an existing wall?
Yes, where the wall is load-bearing and the substrate can be verified. Send us the wall construction and a photograph; where the build cannot be confirmed we specify a support pylon instead.
Do we need more than one bar height?
On a circuit used by mixed ages, two heights are worth having: a high bar for full repetitions and a lower one for assisted work and for shorter users. Both are specified from the same range and can share a single column.
Send us the site plan, the station list and the ground conditions, and we will return a scaled layout with safety zones and every module, pylon and foundation costed. Quotations are issued within 24 to 72 hours.
