Complete street workout parks for public spaces
Complete street workout parks for public spaces : notre sélection professionnelle
A complete street workout park brings pull-up bars, parallel bars, monkey bars, wall bars, dip stations and rings together in one continuous steel structure, open to the public and free to use. Six reference configurations are available, from compact assemblies to a park listing more than 300 individual pieces, and each one can be redrawn to the shape of the plot rather than the other way round.
What a complete park contains
| Element | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Pull-up bars at several heights | Accessible to beginners and to advanced calisthenics athletes on the same structure |
| Parallel bars and dip stations | Pushing strength, dips, L-sit and transition work |
| Monkey bars and horizontal ladders | Grip endurance and circuit routing between zones |
| Wall bars and benches | Core work, stretching and assisted progressions |
| Suspended rings and balance beams | Gymnastic strength and proprioception |
Materials, standards and lifespan
Structures are produced in hot dip galvanised steel or in stainless steel with an anticorrosion treatment and an epoxy topcoat, which is what allows an unsupervised outdoor installation to hold up to year-round use, UV exposure and coastal air. The applicable reference for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment is EN 16630, with EN 1176 and EN 1177 governing the surfacing when the park is open to children. Steel structures in this range carry a long warranty; the exact term is stated on the quotation.
Light In Fitness has equipped local authorities, schools, universities, military sites and campsites since 2013 from its base in Tours. We handle the layout study, the compliance pack for the tender file, delivery and assembly.
Which surface should go under a street workout park?
Rubber tiles or artificial turf, dimensioned on the free fall height of the highest bar. See outdoor sports flooring.
Galvanised or stainless steel?
Galvanised steel covers most inland sites; stainless is specified for coastal or highly exposed locations. See stainless steel outdoor fitness.
