Description
The Steel4Fit Low Pole is the short support column of the reinforced TRAINER range, used to anchor modules that do not need the height of a full pylon. It is welded from S355 and S235 carbon steel, hot-dip galvanised, then oven-baked with a double powder coat in red RAL 3000 and graphite RAL 7016. Certified to EN 16630:2015 by TUV Rheinland, price 612 EUR excluding VAT.
What the Low Pole is for

Who specifies it, and why it appears on the quotation
The Low Pole is a component rather than an exercise station, which means it rarely appears in a client brief and frequently appears in the final bill of quantities. Local authorities use it for compact neighbourhood stations; residential developers use it for reduced configurations at the foot of a building; schools use it where low modules need to be supervised at ground level; installers order it as the certified structural part of a range that has to stay certified as a whole.
That last point matters more than the price. Substituting a generic post for a range component invalidates the certification of the assembly, because EN 16630 conformity is tested on the equipment as configured, not on the exercise module alone. If the frame changes, the tested configuration changes.
Corrosion protection follows the Steel4Fit standard: hot-dip galvanising on the fabricated part, then two oven-baked powder coats. Is installation included in the price?
The 612 EUR excluding VAT covers the component. Light In Fitness carries out the site study, the anchor preparation and the installation across mainland France; those services are itemised separately on the quotation.
Can I use a standard post from a builders merchant instead?
Not on a certified installation. EN 16630 conformity applies to the configuration as tested, so a substituted structural element takes the assembly outside the certification and outside the manufacturer warranty.
