Description
Single Pulse is a Work-fit fitness trail station carrying two pull up bars at two different heights, in laminated Scandinavian pine with AISI 304 stainless steel fittings. Two bar heights on one post make the same station usable by an adult working full pull ups and by a teenager or an older user doing assisted or inclined rows.
The timber is laminated Scandinavian pine treated in autoclave to class IV, the treatment class used for timber in permanent ground contact outdoors. Metal parts are AISI 304 stainless steel and the fixings are stainless steel, so the connections do not stain the timber or corrode at the interface, which is the usual failure point on outdoor trail equipment.
Small splits can appear in laminated timber with seasonal drying. They are a characteristic of the material and do not reduce its strength. The materials require no special treatment for disposal at end of life.

Where a pull up station belongs on a trail
Pulling movements are the part of a fitness trail that users cannot easily replicate elsewhere on a walk, so this station is usually placed at a point where the route has already warmed users up rather than at the entrance. Municipalities, campsites and residential schemes install it alongside balance and jumping stations to give a full body sequence.
The impact area is provided in accordance with EN 1176-1:2017. Its extent depends on the bar heights as installed and on the surrounding ground, so it is confirmed in the implantation study issued with the quotation rather than published as a single figure.
Frequently asked questions
Why two bar heights?
The lower bar allows inclined rows and assisted work for less strong users, and the higher bar allows full hanging pull ups, so one station serves a mixed public.
Do the splits in the timber matter?
No. Laminated timber develops small surface splits as it dries and this does not affect its structural performance.
What are the overall dimensions?
Dimensions and the resulting safety area are issued with the implantation study for your site. Send a plan of the route with the quotation request.
