TRAINER Steel4Fit P01 Support Pylon for Outdoor Fitness Modules

The TRAINER P01 Steel4Fit pylon is the central support mast that carries the Steel4Fit outdoor fitness apparatus. It is the anchor point required to install most modules in the range, allowing a compact, modular fitness station to be built on a single foundation. Certified to EN 16630:2015 and tested and approved by TUV Rheinland, it is supplied by Light In Fitness at 1,068 EUR excluding VAT.

One foundation, several apparatus

The economics of a modular outdoor fitness station are decided by the number of foundations, not the number of apparatus. Every freestanding unit needs its own excavation, concrete and reinstatement, and on a municipal site those groundworks routinely cost as much as the equipment they support. The Steel4Fit pylon inverts that: one mast, set once, receives one or several modules from the range, so a station of four or six training positions is built on a fraction of the civil works. It also produces a tighter, more legible installation, which matters in a residential courtyard or a small urban square where sprawl is not an option.

Designed for phased build-out

Steel4Fit is a modular system, which means a station can start small and grow. Additional pylons and additional modules can be added in later budget years without dismantling what is installed, provided the reserves are planned at the initial design stage: foundation positions, safety zone clearances and circulation are far cheaper to allow for on a drawing than to retrofit. Councils and social landlords working to annual budgets are the main beneficiaries of that approach, and it is worth stating the intended final configuration in the tender even when only the first phase is funded.

How many apparatus can one pylon carry?

A single pylon takes one or several Steel4Fit modules depending on the configuration chosen. The layout study fixes the combination against the intended user profile and checks that the safety zones of the mounted apparatus do not overlap, which is the constraint that usually decides the number rather than the mast itself.

Can the station be extended after installation?

Yes. The Steel4Fit system is designed for it: further pylons and modules can be added later. The reserves, foundation positions and clearances, should be set out in the initial study so that phase two does not require moving phase one.

Are Steel4Fit modules compatible with the other TRAINER ranges?

No. Steel4Fit has its own mast and connection system, and EN 16630 certification applies to the structure as installed, so ranges must not be mixed within one assembly. Choose the range at design stage and extend within it.
