Description
Most rope structures answer the question of how children get up. OASIS answers what happens next. Four stainless steel posts of 88.9 mm carry a raised platform reached by climbing nets or by a climbing wall, and children leave it either by a slide or by a firefighter pole. HPL panels shaped as palm trees give the structure its identity, which on a family site is worth as much as the climbing itself.
Two ways up, two ways down
- Climbing nets for children who prefer a supported ascent, and a climbing wall for those who want holds and a steeper line.
- A slide for the majority and a sliding pole for children who want a faster exit, so the platform clears quickly and no queue forms at the top.
- Separating ascent and descent routes is what keeps a busy structure flowing; a single ladder used in both directions is the classic bottleneck.
- Palm-tree HPL decorative panels: weather and impact resistant, colourfast, and instantly readable as a theme from across the park.
Materials and construction
Structural posts are stainless steel, 88.9 mm diameter. Ropes are 18 mm polyamide with a braided galvanised steel core, cut-resistant and UV-stable, assembled with aluminium and stainless steel connectors. Decorative elements are impact and weather resistant HPL panel. Foundations are high-strength concrete at 0.7 m depth. Related formats are shown under combined rope play structures.
Siting
The minimum impact area is 12.3 by 9.3 m and the free height of fall is 2.9 m. The slide run-out and the base of the sliding pole each need their own clear landing zone within that area, so orient the structure so neither discharges towards a path, a fence or seating.

Frequently asked questions
Is a sliding pole suitable for a public playground?
It is a standard descent element and is certified as part of this structure. Children self-select: those who are not confident use the slide. The requirement is that the landing zone stays clear and the surface beneath it is correct.
Does the slide need extra clearance?
The run-out zone is included in the 12.3 by 9.3 m impact area, but its orientation matters. Point the slide into open space, never towards circulation routes or seating.
Can the theme be changed?
The palm-tree panels define the OASIS identity. Where a different theme is required, the Diamond Collection can be configured with alternative HPL decor as a bespoke project; ask when you request your quotation.
Send us your site plan showing paths and seating, and we will propose an orientation for the slide and pole and return a costed proposal within 24 business hours.
