Description

The Fun Pull Rod kids pull-up bar is a children’s outdoor fitness station supplied and installed throughout France by Light In Fitness. A single horizontal bar set at child height, it supports hanging, assisted pull-ups and swinging – the foundation stone of every suspended motor-skills course.

The simplest station, the widest use

A bar at the right height is all a child needs to learn to hang: grip closes, shoulders engage, core switches on. From there come assisted pull-ups with feet on the ground, leg raises, and simple swinging – each one building grip strength and scapular control. It is also the most economical unit in the KIDS range, which makes it the natural first purchase for a motor-skills course built in stages.

What the child works

  • Lats and biceps
  • Grip strength
  • Abdominal bracing
  • Shoulder girdle

Why choose this model

  • The most economical station in the KIDS range
  • Three colours available: yellow, green and red
  • The base element of any suspended motor-skills course
  • Pairs naturally with the Fun Ladder horizontal ladder

Two compliance versions: EN 16630 or EN 1176

The Fun Pull Rod exists in an EN 16630 version (free-access outdoor fitness equipment, intended for users of at least 1.40 m) and an EN 1176 version (playground equipment standard, governing free spaces, entrapment and free fall height, with EN 1177 surfacing where required). The version follows the administrative status of your space; Light In Fitness confirms it before quoting.

Frequently asked questions

Can a child who cannot yet do a pull-up still use it?

Yes – that is the point of the child-height bar. With feet on the ground, the child performs assisted pull-ups by unloading part of their weight, then progresses to hanging holds and full pull-ups as strength builds.

How is it usually combined on a course?

The classic layout runs Fun Pull Rod first for hanging basics, then the Fun Ladder for travelling traverses – the same colour options across both units keep the course visually coherent.

What is the difference between the two compliance versions?

The hardware is identical; only the certification framework changes. Declared playgrounds take the EN 1176 version with the matching EN 1177 surfacing where required, free-access fitness areas take EN 16630.
