The Bodytone Forza FR06H is a dedicated storage rack for six pairs of hex dumbbells, rated to a 300 kg distributed load, measuring 162 x 73 x 73 cm and weighing 64 kg. Storage is a safety item, not furniture

Dumbbells left on the floor of a free-weight area are the most common cause of trip and impact incidents in a commercial gym, and the most common source of damage to rubber flooring. A rack changes member behaviour because it makes the correct action the easy one: pairs sit at a defined position, the weight wanted is visible at a glance, and staff can verify at the end of a shift that nothing is missing. That is why a rack is specified with the dumbbells rather than after them.

Construction under full load

A rack carrying 300 kg on shelves cantilevered from two uprights is a structural problem, not a sheet-metal one. The FR06H uses heavy-section tube joined by robot welding, which gives a consistent weld profile that hand welding on a production line does not, and connection plates at the shelf-to-upright junction to spread the load into the frame rather than concentrating it at the weld. The practical result is that the rack does not develop a lean over time, which is what eventually happens to lightly built storage in a busy free-weight zone.

Sizing the rack to the set

Six pairs is a working figure for a studio, a hotel gym, a corporate facility or a functional training zone that carries a partial dumbbell range. A commercial free-weight floor running a full set from 2 to 50 kg needs several racks placed along the mirror wall. Plan a clear metre in front of the rack for lifting and returning, and place it on flooring rated for dropped loads.

Are the dumbbells included?

No. The FR06H is supplied as the rack only, which lets you match it to the hex dumbbells already on your floor or specify a new set in the weights you actually need. We quote rack and set together on request.

Will it take round rubber dumbbells as well as hex?

The shelves are profiled for hexagonal heads, which sit flat and cannot roll. Round dumbbells will physically rest on the rack but are not retained the same way, and on a busy floor they migrate. Where the set is round-headed, specify the matching rack rather than this one.

Does it need fixing to the wall?

Not as standard: at 64 kg empty and 300 kg loaded, with non-slip feet and a low centre of gravity, it is stable free-standing. Facilities open to unsupervised public use sometimes anchor storage as a policy matter, and the frame accepts fixings.
