Description
The TRAINER dip station is a free-standing, ground-anchored bodyweight module measuring 130 x 58 x 101 cm and weighing 30 kg. It carries users up to 150 kg inside a safety zone of 358 x 430 cm, is rated medium difficulty and is certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland. At 636 EUR excluding VAT it is one of the lowest-cost ways to add a complete pressing movement to an outdoor circuit.
The pressing half of a calisthenics circuit
A street workout area built only around pull-up bars trains one direction. Dips are the vertical pressing counterpart, and they are the exercise that lets a user progress from push-ups to full bodyweight pressing without any equipment adjustment or coaching.
- Triceps as the primary mover through the full extension range
- Lower and outer pectorals under the forward-leaning variation
- Anterior deltoid and the scapular depressors as stabilisers
- Also used for support holds, negatives and assisted repetitions
- Users above 140 cm in height, up to 150 kg

Free-standing rather than post-mounted
Unlike the post-mounted modules in the OutdoorFit range, the dip station carries its own structure and is anchored directly into the ground. That has two consequences for a project. First, there is no separate pylon to specify or budget: the price above covers the complete station. Second, the module can be placed anywhere on the site rather than at a shared column, so it can be positioned to suit the flow of the circuit.
At 101 cm high with a 130 x 58 cm base, the station is compact enough for a pocket park or a school yard where a full rig will not fit. The 358 x 430 cm safety zone is what actually determines the space required, and it can overlap the zone of an adjacent module where the layout allows.
Corrosion protection follows the range standard: shot blasted, galvanised, then two polyester coats. On an unsupervised urban site that sequence is what keeps the anchor zone sound. See the street workout and calisthenics cages for larger installations, or the full street workout rig range.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price include a support post?
No post is needed. The dip station is free standing and anchored into the ground, so 636 EUR excluding VAT covers the complete module. Groundworks and foundations are quoted separately with the layout.
Can beginners use a medium-difficulty station?
Yes, through the standard progressions: support holds first, then negatives with a controlled lowering, then partial and full repetitions. Nothing needs to be adjusted on the equipment, which is what makes dips workable on an unsupervised site.
Will it combine with an existing rig from another supplier?
The module is free standing, so it can be installed alongside an existing structure without any mechanical connection. The point to check is the safety zone overlap with what is already on site, which we verify on the layout drawing before quoting.
Send us the site dimensions, the equipment already installed and the surfacing in place, and we will return a scaled layout with safety zones and a full project cost. Quotations are issued within 24 to 72 hours.
