Description
This outdoor steel plyobox is a jump box for permanent open-air installation, available in ten heights from 10 to 100 cm. Built in corrosion-resistant stainless steel with vandal-resistant finishes, it brings plyometric training, jumps, step-ups, dips and explosive work, to parks, barracks, campsites and outdoor cross-training zones.
Plyometric progressions for every level
Box training is only as good as its progression. With heights from 10 to 100 cm, a site can build a genuine jump ladder: 10 to 30 cm for seniors, rehabilitation and beginners; 40 to 60 cm for general conditioning; 70 to 100 cm for athletes chasing explosive power. Beyond jumps, each box serves for step-ups, incline push-ups, box dips and seated positions, making a multi-height series one of the most versatile investments in an outdoor training area.
Stainless steel for permanent outdoor duty
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction for permanent exposure
- Vandal-resistant finishes suited to high-traffic public spaces
- Designed for free-access use in municipal parks, military bases and campsites
Siting and compliance
In open-access settings the equipment falls under EN 16630 for outdoor fitness modules: allow a peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 m and impact-attenuating surfacing compliant with EN 1177, dimensioned to the free-fall height. Anchoring is by base plates in concrete footings or fixing to an existing slab. On enclosed private sites the same requirements remain best practice.

Built against vandalism and weather alike
Public jump boxes fail two ways: corrosion and abuse. This plyobox answers both with a stainless steel body that ignores rain, frost and salt air, and vandal-resistant finishes with no pads to slash, no wood to carve and no fixings that invite tampering. Unlike timber or foam boxes wheeled out for sessions, it stays on site year-round in free access, which is what makes plyometric training genuinely available to the public rather than dependent on staff presence. For phased projects, sites often start with two or three heights and extend the series in later budget rounds.
Frequently asked questions
Which height should I choose?
Sites serving mixed publics usually combine several heights to build a progression rather than choosing one. The free layout study composes the right series for your users and space.
Plyobox or fixed plyometric podium?
The plyobox can be repositioned and combined by height; a sealed multi-height podium stays permanently in place for fully unsupervised access. The two complement each other depending on how supervised the site is.
Is installation included?
