Description
This outdoor cross trainer is self powered and reinforced for intensive public use, so it needs no electrical connection at all. Resistance and the display run on the energy of the user’s own movement, which means the machine can be sited anywhere on a public space without cabling or electrical works.
The elliptical movement is the most intergenerational cardio station available for an outdoor area. It works the legs, arms and trunk together with no joint impact, so it suits a teenager, an adult in training and an older resident equally, unlike a pull up rig or a heavy strength station which effectively exclude part of the population. That is why municipalities and residences place it at the entrance of an outdoor fitness zone.
The public access version is built up specifically for permanent unsupervised service: free access, high footfall and continuous exposure to the weather. Maintenance is limited to cleaning and a periodic check of the joints and pivots, with no motor, no electronics enclosure and no seasonal shutdown to manage.

Public access version or residential version
The two versions look similar and are built for different service lives. The public access model is reinforced for high footfall and permanent free access in public space, where the machine may be used hundreds of times a week by users of every size and with no supervision at all. The residential version targets regular individual or family use in a hotel, guest house or private ground. Choosing the lighter version for a public square is the most common and the most expensive specification error in outdoor fitness, because the wear appears within the first two seasons. Our team advises on the correct version against expected footfall. For installation, EN 16630 applies to free access sites, with a clear safety zone of at least 1.50 m, and Light In Fitness handles the implantation study, the anchorage preparation and the installation throughout France. Quotations are free and issued within 24 working hours.
