Description
The Bodytone EVO Climber is a professional stair climber with motorised rolling steps, progressive intensity control and a quiet drive train. It delivers one of the highest energy costs per minute available in a cardio room, on a guided movement that spares the joints far more than running does.
Most operators avoid stair climbers because consumer grade machines are noisy, unstable and short lived. This reference is built for the opposite situation: a reinforced steel structure, an optimised transmission that does not carry vibration into the floor below, and a belt drive dimensioned for continuous club duty rather than domestic sessions.
The user experience is the commercial argument. Speed and intensity rise progressively, so an untrained member can start gently while an advanced athlete can push into interval work on the same machine. A premium console tracks statistics and runs preset programmes, giving members a reason to return to the machine rather than treat it as a novelty.

Positioning a stair climber in a cardio zone
A climber is a tall machine and reads as a landmark on the gym floor, which is why it works best at the head of a cardio row or in a visible corner rather than buried in a line of treadmills. Ceiling height is the first constraint to check, since the user stands elevated on the steps and needs clearance above.
The second constraint is structural. Stair climbers are commonly refused on upper floors because of transmitted vibration, so the low noise transmission on this model is what makes an installation above occupied space realistic. Confirm the floor loading and the access route for delivery with our technical team; a 3D layout of the cardio zone is prepared as part of the project study.
Typical installations include premium clubs and boutique studios, four and five star hotel fitness suites, athlete and military physical preparation rooms, and high end coaching centres. Delivery and installation are handled in France, with Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg covered as standard and export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
Is a stair climber suitable for deconditioned members?
Yes, within limits. The movement is guided and the intensity is adjusted progressively, so a beginner can work at a walking cadence with the handrail for support. It remains a demanding exercise, so induction by a member of staff is advisable.
Can it be installed on an upper floor?
Often yes. The transmission is designed to limit noise and vibration transfer, which is the usual objection. Floor loading and the fixing conditions still need to be verified on your building, and we review this before the order is confirmed.
What after sales cover applies?
The machine is manufactured in Europe and covered by our after sales service with a 48 hour response commitment. Warranty runs from two to five years depending on the component set, and spare parts are held for the professional cardio range.
