Description
The Ziva ST2 Olympic incline bench is a 30-degree pressing station with six integrated Olympic plate holders and an adjustable seat height, built on 11-gauge 3.0 mm profile with injection-moulded, double-stitched upholstery. It is supplied by Light In Fitness at 1,150 EUR excluding VAT.
A fixed 30 degrees, and why that is an advantage
Adjustable incline benches cover every angle and excel at none. A dedicated 30-degree station sets the angle that recruits the clavicular head of the pectorals most efficiently while keeping the anterior deltoid out of the lift, and it sets it identically for every user, every session. In a commercial gym that removes the two most common failure points of adjustable equipment: members training at an angle they chose at random, and pop-pin mechanisms that wear out under load. On a free-weight floor running heavy Olympic sets, a fixed-angle frame is also simply more rigid.
- Fixed 30-degree incline for barbell pressing
- Adjustable seat height to set shoulder position by user
- Six integrated holders for Olympic-diameter plates
- Steel spotter platform behind the head of the bench
- Injection-moulded padding with double-stitched upholstery
- Hard rubber uprights protect bar knurling and finish
Storage that keeps the floor clear
The six-plate storage is not a marketing detail. An incline bench in a busy free-weight area accumulates loose plates on the floor within an hour of opening, and that is where trip incidents and damaged flooring come from. Housing the working load on the frame keeps the surrounding area clear, speeds up loading and unloading between sets, and means the station can be checked as tidy at a glance. The storage posts are stainless steel; the rest of the structure carries a baked powder coat.
Installation and spotting
The bench is delivered flat-packed and assembly is required. Rubber-padded feet allow it to sit on a rubber gym floor without fixing, and a bolt-down option is available where the layout is permanent or the site requires anchored equipment. The rear platform gives a spotter a stable, elevated stance directly over the bar, which is the position a 30-degree press needs and which a standard bench with no platform does not provide.

Frequently asked questions
Does it come with a barbell or plates?
No. The bench is supplied as a frame with uprights, spotter platform and storage posts. Bars and plates are quoted separately, which lets you match the diameter and finish already in use on your floor rather than accepting a bundled set.
How much floor space should be allowed around it?
Plan for a clear metre each side of the bar to load and strip plates, plus room behind for the spotter. In practice a 3.5 x 3 m footprint per station is the working figure for a commercial free-weight area, and it should sit on flooring rated for dropped Olympic loads.
Can the seat height suit shorter and taller users?
Yes, that is the purpose of the adjustment: the incline stays fixed while the seat moves so that the bar path finishes over the upper chest regardless of torso length. Setting it correctly is a two-second operation and should be covered in member induction.
