Description
The Ziva ST2 Olympic flat bench with storage measures 193.4 x 157 x 133.1 cm and weighs 76 kg, built on 11-gauge 3.0 mm profile with injection-moulded, double-stitched upholstery and six integrated stainless steel plate posts. Light In Fitness supplies it at 995 EUR excluding VAT.
The reference lift, on a frame that does not move
The flat bench press is the single most used station on a commercial free-weight floor, and the only thing that matters mechanically is that the frame stays absolutely still under an unrack. The ST2 is built for that: a fixed-geometry structure in 11-gauge, 3.0 mm section, with hard rubber uprights that hold the bar without chewing the knurling and rubber-padded feet that keep the whole assembly planted on a rubber floor. There is no adjustment mechanism, which removes both the pop-pin wear and the play that develops in adjustable benches after a few thousand cycles.
- Fixed flat Olympic bench press station
- Six integrated posts for Olympic-diameter plates
- 11-gauge, 3.0 mm profile
- Injection-moulded padding, double-stitched upholstery
- Hard rubber uprights protect bar knurling
- Rubber-padded feet or bolt-down option
Flat or incline: specify both, in that order
A free-weight area with one bench should have the flat version. It is the lift members ask for, the one strength programmes are written around, and the one that generates queues. The 30-degree incline bench is the second purchase, not the first, and the two are complementary rather than interchangeable: the incline shifts load onto the clavicular head of the pectorals and out of the mid-chest. The two ST2 references share construction, storage and upholstery, so a floor equipped with both reads as one system.
Storage and floor discipline
The six stainless steel posts hold the working load on the frame instead of on the floor, which is where trip incidents and flooring damage come from in a busy free-weight zone. It also speeds up loading between sets and lets staff verify at a glance that nothing has gone missing. The bench is delivered flat-packed and assembly is required.

Frequently asked questions
Is a bar included?
No. The bench is supplied as the frame with uprights and plate posts, so the bar and plates can be matched to the diameter and finish already on your floor. We quote bench, bar and plate set together when a new area is being equipped.
Should it be bolted down?
Not usually. At 76 kg with rubber-padded feet it stays put in normal commercial use, and leaving it free allows the floor to be reconfigured. Bolting is worth doing where the layout is permanent, where the bench sits on a raised platform, or where site policy requires anchored equipment.
How much space does one bench need?
Around 3.5 x 3 m in practice: a clear metre each side of the bar for loading and stripping, plus room behind the head for a spotter. The flooring beneath should be rated for dropped Olympic loads, since that is what will eventually happen.
