Description
This galvanised steel wall bar unit stands 2.80 m tall including its flying pull up bar, is 1.31 m wide, has rungs spaced at 32 cm and is rated to 200 kg. Indoor and outdoor use. Price: 1,550 EUR excluding VAT.
What the flying pull up bar adds
A standard wall bar is a ladder: two uprights and a set of horizontal rungs. Pulling from the top rung means pulling with the uprights in the way, so the shoulders cannot travel freely and grip options are limited.
The flying pull up bar sits at the top of the structure and stands clear of the rung plane. That gives a natural hand position and an unobstructed range of motion for strict pull ups in overhand, underhand or neutral grip, plus muscle ups, hanging leg raises and any suspension work that needs the body to swing without touching the frame.
What can be trained on it
- Strict pull ups and chin ups on the flying bar, with 2.80 m of height for taller users
- Hanging knee and leg raises, L-sits and passive hangs for spinal decompression
- Assisted squats, step ups and incline press ups using the rungs
- Shoulder mobility and thoracic flexibility work against the ladder
- Suspension straps and gymnastic rings hung at any rung height
Galvanised steel for outdoor exposure
The structure is galvanised steel, which resists atmospheric corrosion and rain splash without an additional surface treatment, so the same unit can be specified for a school gym or an outdoor training yard. Galvanising protects against weather, not against permanent immersion: for a permanent outdoor installation, provide a free draining surface under and around the frame so water cannot stand against the uprights.

Frequently asked questions
Is 2.80 m of ceiling height enough for pull ups?
2.80 m is the height of the structure including the bar, so the room must be taller than that. What matters in practice is that a user can hang with straight arms without the feet touching the floor. For members above 1.85 m, ask us for the height of the bar alone before confirming a room with a low ceiling or exposed beams.
Can rings and suspension straps be attached to the rungs?
Yes, at any height that suits the exercise and the user. The unit is rated to 200 kg overall; if you plan weighted pull ups or weighted ring dips, ask us for the per rung load so the loading stays within specification.
How is it fixed in place?
Fixing depends on the support available: a load bearing wall, a concrete slab or a post. Send us a photograph of the intended location and the wall or floor build up and we will confirm the anchoring method, the base plate dimensions and the fixings required.
For a school, a municipal gym or any public building, ask us for the full technical data sheet with certified loads and test reports before submitting your file. Send us your project and we will return a written quotation with delivery in France. See the street workout rigs and the wider outdoor gym equipment catalogue.
