Description
The BL-ACR6 parallel bars module brings gymnastic and calisthenics training into a modular outdoor street workout cage. Parallel bars are the station that separates a rig people use from a rig people train on, because the same two rails support everything from a first assisted dip to a planche progression. Hot-dip galvanised steel, 20-year structural warranty, 520 EUR excluding VAT.
A single module, a whole discipline
The exercise vocabulary available on a set of parallel bars is larger than on any other element of an outdoor rig, and it grows with the user rather than being outgrown.
- Dips and deep dips for the triceps, chest and anterior deltoid
- L-sits, tuck holds and leg raises for the abdominal wall and hip flexors
- Support holds and swings building scapular control
- Advanced static work: tuck planche, straddle progressions, shoulder stands
- Travelling dips and support walks along the length of the rails

Designing the rig around the users, not the catalogue
The advantage of a modular system is that the structure follows the brief. A school yard needs a low, wide rig that a class can circulate around; a city calisthenics park needs height, bar variety and room for two or three users on the same element; a residential development needs a compact footprint that reads as landscape furniture rather than as sports equipment.
Parallel bars appear in all three, which is why they are usually the second module specified after the pull-up bars. They serve beginners and elite calisthenics athletes from the same steel, and unlike a pull-up bar they can be used by someone who cannot yet lift their own body weight.
The rails are hot-dip galvanised and Super Durable powder coated, a combination specified for continuous hand contact outdoors: no rust bleed onto the palms, no chalking of the coating under UV. Explore street workout rigs or plan a full site with complete street workout parks.
Frequently asked questions
How many users can work on the module at once?
One at a time on the bars themselves for dip and static work, though the rails are commonly used by two people for partner and coaching sessions. Capacity across the whole rig is determined by the module mix, which we set out on the configuration drawing.
Is the bar height fixed?
Yes. A fixed height keeps the assembly certified and consistent, and it removes the adjustment that gets left in the wrong position on an unsupervised site. Where a project needs two heights, we specify two modules within the same rig.
Can the colour be matched to a site palette?
Yes. The Super Durable polyester powder coat is available in a range of shades and the pigments are selected for UV stability, so a specified colour still matches the rest of the site years after installation. Confirm the reference at order stage.
Tell us the space you have, the disciplines you want to support and the age of the users, and we will return a configuration drawing with each module costed and the foundations detailed. Quotations are issued within 24 to 72 hours.
